Q2. How are the Studio's designs made?
A2. All our work is handmade by skilled craft-workers using a cold cast method. Each piece has a shell of pure cast iron or bronze backed by a resin and ceramic core. Any variations in finish are part of it's appeal.
Q3. How do I care for my gift?
A3. Cast iron pieces are for indoor use only.
Bronze pieces can be placed outdoors where they may acquire a green patina over time. Both can be left to age naturally or polished occasionally with a soft cloth and beeswax to retain their shine.
Q4. Can I buy directly from The Wild Goose Studio?
A4. No, we only sell through our appointed retailers.
Q5. How can i find out more about the meaning of any piece?
A5. Each has a label that explains its origins and significance, so that you can should he imagination that lies behind it.
Q6. Can Wild Goose Studio pieces be placed outdoors?
A6. Only the bronze finish items. Those, depending on the atmosphere, may acquire a green patina.. Cast iron pieces must be protected from damp, or they may rust. Part of the natural oxidisation pocess.
